THE Rev. Benson Perkins , who is one of the most prominent social workers in the city, is Superintendent of the Birmingham Mission, with its widespread social and institutional work centring in the Birmingham Central Hall. During the War, he was Chaplain to the Forces, but later continued his social work. He was a member of the Executive of C.O.P.E.C. when the great Conference met in 1924, and was also a representative at the International Conference at Stockholm.
