PEGGY DESMOND 
A scholarship to the Brighton College of Music at the age of eleven ;  one to Trinity College, London, at  the age of twelve ; still at school  when she was thirteen and playing  the piano in a cinema in the evening  for a living. Such were the struggles  and the achievements of Peggy Desmond. She has been on the air  with the Fol-de-Rols for three years,  and has given sixteen solo broadcasts.
