If you do the sums this sea soup is just too weak to make it worth concentrating without huge quantities of extra energy. There are other perhaps more likely goals: to prevent illness rather than cure it, or a high technology of agriculture that frees land for leisure. What goals can we move towards with the help of the technology that we need so much?
