An underwater blockage across Roskilde Fjord near Copenhagen was known locally as the ship of Queen Margrethe (1387-1412). In the last three years a team from Denmark's National Museum led by Olaf Olsen , using underwater techniques, has discovered a number of Viking ships piled one above the other.
