In this country we tend to take the quality of our food for granted. In the field of processed foods, this is a tribute to the skill of the food technologists. These are the men and women, trained largely in science and engineering, who devise and watch over the operations that produce canned and quick frozen foods. Indirectly they are helping to overcome the world shortage of food.
