This week's talk in this fascinating series will be given by the wife of Dr. Pettoello, Lecturer in Italian at Cambridge University and well known to listeners for his share in the recent broadcast Italian conversations. She will describe the routine of the life of a working-class woman in a North Italian city, shopping, cooking, and the care of children, as well as the civic responsibilities that the modern Italian woman is expected to bear.
