This is the first English example of the reporting in Radio form of contemporary events. The crisis in Spain, precipitated by the Municipal Elections of last April, is presented in terms of news items broadcast at the time all over the world by Wireless and the Press. The sequence of events runs from the first announcement of the Elections on March 15th, through the formation of the provisional Republic on April 14th, and the withdrawal of the Royal Family, to the death in Paris on April 23rd of the Infanta Dona Isabella. The programme contains no comment; the facts themselves are dramatic enough.
