Tonight at 9.20.
In announcing this new Burlesque series we declared our intention of attempting occasionally to laugh at ourselves, and we invited you to join in the sport of laughing at the other fellow (the same thing, of course!). Doctor Knock provides a unique opportunity for both. Which of us has not, at one time or other, yielded to some extravagant, irresistible advertisement of medical quackery? Which of us would feel satisfied with the doctor who sent us away without a reassuring bottle of medicine? And, if we can succumb so easily to the cold print of extravagant advertisement, what would happen to us if we came under the spell of a doctor whose personality, backed up by successful results, seemed to reaffirm his advertised claims? Dr. Knock will provide the answer.
