This play is being performed by members of the Swansea Welsh Drama Society. Each year since 1922 the Society has held a Welsh Drama Week in Swansea, presenting a repertoire of plays in the vernacular. A considerable number of the best-known original Welsh dramas, as welt as Welsh versions of English, French, and Spanish plays, have been given their first performance by the Society. The one-act play, Dwyiwaith Yn Blentyn, which is being broadcast this evening, has been included more than once in the programmes of the Swansea Drama Festivals.
