This is the first of a number of broadcasts which will be given from the specially erected studio in the Colston Hall, where visitors may see the artists actually broadcasting. Beatrix Richards hits won many prizes and medals in competitions in Bath and the West of England, including the Premier Trophy presented by the Federation of Musical Industries of Great Britain. She has appeared in London at the Coliseum and in many provincial theatres. Herbert Powell is a member of a family of musicians, including two sopranos, two pianists anq a violoncellist. He has specialized in Oratorio.
