The Manchester Citizens' Clubs Association aims at providing a place where, on payment of the small charge of twopence, the young citizens of Manchester can find recreation in decent surroundings. The Club has been carried on successfully in a small way in rented rooms, but very suitable permanent premises have now been found with rooms large enough for games, billiards, dancing, cards, and a cafe. The committee are anxious to open in October free of debt. £1,100 is still needed, and those who are interested in the scheme can help by sending a contribution to [address removed].
