CARRODUS TAYLOR (violoncello) HENRY ECCLES was the second son of Solomon Eccles, or Eagles, the curious character who ran about London during the Plague, exhorting the people to repent. Henry appears to have been sane enough, and wrote sonatas for the violin and viola, somewhat in the style of Corelli.
