In addition to the series of recitals of Psalm Tunes which were broadcast from the studio, listeners have heard broadcasts of psalms particularly associated with Edinburgh and Glasgow and district, from St. Giles Cathedral and Glasgow Cathedral. And now the microphone is being taken to Aberdeen for the third relay. Mr. Willan Swain son, who conducts the choir of Queen's Cross Church, began his professional career in Harrogate. He came to Aberdeen to be organist of Queen's Cross Church in 1916 and has conducted the Aberdeen Bach Choir, the Peterhead Choral Society, and was the founder of the Aberdeen Oratorio Choir and the Choral and Orchestral concerts, as well as the Aberdeen Chamber Music Club. Since 1925 he has been Lecturer in Music at the University of Aberdeen. '
