Mrs. Freeman has had a show-down with Jack Snell and things are looking up at the Curio Shop. Lalage has told Roddy that she is engaged to Quentin O'Neill and Dr. Dale finds Roddy a very gloomy partner. Sally has offered Gloria Watt a job at the Boutique and Ruby is now free to work full-time at Bob's garage. Dr. Dale and Dr. Harris are both puzzled by the condition of a baby with unexplained bruises on its face.
