Bob, Jenny and Gwen visited Exton, and Gwen and Mrs. Dale were reconciled. Alec visited Louise at her hospital but she refused to discuss matters with him and told him she didn't want to see him ever again. Mrs. Freeman went to live with Mrs. Cornish, and things go well between them but she and the Dales are still concerned about Sally. Miriam had a letter from the General Medical Council saying that there was not enough evidence to proceed with the case against Louise.
