Repeated on Tuesday at 11.15 a.m.
Gwen met Kate with Vicky in the street one day when she was taking the boys to tea at Virginia Lodge. Mrs. Dale was still looking after Ivor; one night she made him a macaroni cheese for supper, and Mrs. Freeman made one for Dr. Dale. Annie appeared at Ivor's house with a macaroni cheese wrapped in newspaper in her mouth; it was uncertain whose it was, but when Mrs. Freeman found out about it she had a row with Dr. Dale. When Mrs. Dale got back to Virginia Lodge, after Joanna had come out of hospital, she lost her temper with both of them. At the garage, Pat said that on the day Joanna was knocked down, Jimmy Parsons had come to have the mudguard on his motorbike repaired. Fickling asked Mrs. Parsons where Jimmy had been on the day of the accident, and she said he had been with her visiting her sister.

* Stowaway * by Bob Kesten
When a half-starved stowaway was discovered in the cargo hold of a ship in the Pool of London in July 1954, nobody could anticipate that it would prove to be the beginning of an international incident which dramatically demonstrated the traditional care of British justice for the rights of political refugees.
