George Woodcock has been Assistant General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress since 1947. Born in Lancashire, he started work in the cotton mills as a half-4imer at the age of twelve. Recently he visited San Domingo as a member of a delegation from the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions.
James Cameron is a journalist and author. Having been a foreign correspondent for many years, he has travelled in most countries of the world and been present at many events of international importance. He was the British observer at the first atom bomb test at Bikini and has recently returned from Egypt, where he watched the Neguib revolution.
