J. Enoch Powell , a newcomer to ' Any Questions?,' is the Member of Parliament (Conservative) for Wolverhampton South-West. He was Professor of Greek at Sydney University from 1937 to 1939 and is the author of a number of books. On the outbreak of war he joined the Army as a private and rose to the rank of brigadier. He is the joint author of a recent Conservative pamphlet which contains an analysis of the social services and their relation to the various forms of means test.
