John Paul, a newcomer to 'Any Questions?', was the Conservative candidate for the Test Division of Southampton in the General Election last year. He is a business executive and was on the staff of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company for fifteen years. He is a member of the National Executive Committee of the Conservative Party.
Victor Mishcon, also a newcomer to the programme, was the Labour Parliamentary candidate in Bath last October. He is a solicitor and has been Chairman of the Public Control Committee of the London County Council since 1947. During 1950 he toured the U.S.A. and Canada, lecturing and broadcasting on the Festival of Britain and the British way of life.
