Morgan Phillips is the General Secretary of the Labour Party. He has had a varied career, leaving school at an early age to work in the mines. He has represented the Labour Party in many delegations throughout Europe, and attended the Dominion Conference in Canada in 1947. He is Chairman of the International Socialist Conference.
Peter Thomeycroft is the Member of Parliament (Conservative) for Monmouth. He was aFounder of the Tory Reform Committee, and its Chairman in 1945, when he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport in the Caretaker Government. He is at present Chairman of the Party's Transport Committee.
