The Age of Automation by Sir Leon Bagrit Chairman of Elliott-Automation, Ltd. This year's Reith Lecturer discusses the implications of using the new technology fully and confidently. Sir Leon speculates on the probable social benefits and on the changes in political and industrial organisation which he believes are likely to become necessary as automation extends into more and more fields.
