The story of a summer journey by D. G. Bridson
What is Italy thinking and talking about after ten years of peace? To find a few of the answers D. G. Bridson and a young Italian friend, Marco Bacciaga luppi, recently toured north and central Italy with a recording machine. The sound-pictures they brought back range from recorded conversation to gossip from the Rome cinema studios and news of the Giorgione and Fra Angelico exhibitions currently being held in Venice and Florence.
