A tribute by his pupil
Yehudi Menuhin
Georges Enesco died on May 4 this year after achieving greatness as composer, conductor, and violinist. Tonight's programme shows him in all these capacities, and also as a pianist. It includes the finale of his Third Violin Sonata and the slow movement of his Octet for Strings.
