Blessing
Francis Joseph Campbell, the subject of today's Interlude, was born in America just over a hundred years ago. He was blinded by an accident when he was three years old, and devoted his life to teaching and helping other blind people to live a useful and normal life. He was the founder and first Principal of the Royal Normal College for the Blind. This story illustrates the saying of Christ: ' The blind receive their sight ' (St. Matthew 11, v. 5).
