Today the new motor lifeboat-a gift from the Manchester and District Branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution-is to be named William Gammon , to perpetuate the name of the coxswain of the crew who lost their lives last April in attempting to-rescue the crew of the s.s. Samtampa at Sker Point, South Wales
The ceremony is broadcast from the Lifeboat House. Mumbles Pier
