Iso Elinson, Russian pianist, received his first instruction from his mother, a pupil of Anton Rubinstein. At six years of age he attended the. Leningrad Conservatoire and soon afterwards started his concert career. He gave many recitals in the principal cities of Russia, and is well-known on the Continent, in the .U.S.A., and South America. In England he has given concerts since '1933/ has appeared in many orchestral concerts in London and the provinces, and has broadcast regularly for the past seven years.
