The action kicks off in Hoedspruit, South Africa. The adventure is nearly over before it's even begun as an angry hippo surprises Steve in a tense encounter on the river. Pinky and Perky are a pair of piglets who have just been given their big break in showbiz: their own live children's television show full of crazy stunts, mad games, wild cartoons and top celebrity guests. 

Their show is loud, messy, funny and frequently out of control, which makes it very unpopular with the old guard of the TV station. One way or another, they're going to get those pesky pigs off the air!

Pinky's hot and Perky's not, which makes him one piggin' angry porker. But his attempts to become more popular than his brother play right into the paws of their enemies!

Perky's worst nightmare has come true: Pinky is officially more popular then him! Perky can't believe it, but when an impromptu convention of Pinky's fans descends upon PPCTV intent on seeing their favourite piglet, it's confirmed. 

Perky is distraught and he tries various ways to be more like Pinky (but 100 per cent better) in the bid to over shadow Pinky's popularity. When his attempts fail, Vera and Eric are on hand to trick him in to a new kind of fame as the most unpopular pig in the entire world! Will they succeed? And how will modest Pinky cope with his new found fame?
