A new weekly thriller in seven parts by Edward J. Mason and Ted Willis.
Starring Glyn Houston, Betty McDowall, John Gabriel, Lloyd Lamble
with Christopher Beeny

Det-Insp. Mitchell is investigating two murders committed on the same night. Both victims (a middle-aged coloured man and a boy of nineteen) have been strangled by a piece of white telephone cord. Hanging by a similar piece of cord in the porch of the first victim's home is a white cockerel and in the second a grotesque puppet.

Starring Dick Powell
with guest stars Nick Adams, Ralph Bellamy, Edgar Bergen, Lloyd Bridges, Jack Carson, Carolyn Jones, Dean Jones, Ronald Reagan, Mickey Rooney, Kay Thompson

Inspector Amos Burke is probably the only policeman who arrives at work in a chauffeur-driven limousine, for he was born a millionaire. He is, nevertheless, a dedicated man of law, and the case of Julie Greer, a beautiful model who is found strangled in her Hollywood home, proves to be one of his most difficult assignments.
