Two films of the ports and shipyards.

A Ship is Born
The launching of a new motorship in the Polish shipyard of Szczecin..... Jan Lomnicki, one of Poland's leading documentary directors, has dedicated this film to the men who built the ship-workers and engineers-and in it he has depicted them with pride and admiration.

Amsterdam, City of Canals
Max de Haas's imaginative presentation of the port and waterways of Amsterdam, one of the largest ports of Europe, where the almost unceasing activity starts with the dance-line movement of the big cranes, and ends as they come to a stop in the fading light of evening.
