The Church of St. Margaret of Antioch stands on the south side of Parliament Square, close to the walls of Westminster Abbey, It is the Mother Church of the City of Westminster and the Parish Church of the House of Commons, with pews reserved for the Speaker and the Members of the House.
The Church as it now stands was built on the eve of the Reformation and was consecrated in April 1523.
