Miss Sabry has disappeared. She is being held to ransom for £5.000. Her ex-boy friend, Cracker, has been told in the ransom note that no attempt must be made to find her. Cracker is unable to produce £5,000, and his step-son, Paul, and daughter, Clare, feel bound to find Miss Sabry. Clare returns to the theatre to meet the 'date' she left three hours previously-before the whole affair, began.
