A mystery serial in six episodes by Raymond Bowers.
Starring Sebastian Shaw, Petra Davies

Cracker, an ageing playboy, had rented the flat next to his own for a Miss Sabry, a young lady whose friendship with him was coming to an end. The story opened one evening when Clare, Cracker's grown-up daughter, and Paul, his stepson, were both mysteriously summoned to meet their father in Miss Sabry's flat. Cracker's belongings were planted about the place to make it look as if he lived there. After Paul and Clare left with the mystery still unsolved, a note was delivered demanding £5,000 from Cracker if he wanted to see Miss Sabry alive again. The affair, it seemed, was only beginning.

Just fifteen years ago today the war finally ended with victory over Japan. In this film, Bob Hope takes as his theme 'Peace, it's Wonderful'.
He tells the story of the five years that followed in America: the rush to demobilise, the beginnings of the cold war, the surprise victory of President Truman in the Presidential Election of 1948, the witch-hunt of the Committee on Un-American Activities, up to the outbreak of a new war - in Korea.
An NBC 'Project 20' production

'The most significant factor about this approach to painting and sculpture, completely free from representation, is that it provides a completely new and more dynamic relationship between the Work of art, the artist and the spectator... if it were large enough he could get into it'.
