An investigation into the pig industry.
Introduced by Maurice Hankey.
The saying goes that pigs have always been 'muck or money'. Just now, pig producers are dissatisfied with the present and worried about the future, especially for bacon. Maurice Hankey visits London Docks, Agriculture House, a bacon curer, a pork pie and sausage manufacturer, housewives and a leading retailer, and discusses his findings with John Angell and T. K. Parr.
