Jane goes to stay in London with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner. She hopes Mr. Bingley may call, but only his sister arrives; and this visit brings further disappointment. Elizabeth, meanwhile, visits Mr. and Mrs. Collins at Hunsford Parsonage. From there she dines with Lady Catherine de Bourgh at Rosings, and again meets Mr. Darcy. This encounter leads to a second meeting, with astonishing developments.

Alan Villiers and Peter Scott discuss Quest for a Brig
Quite recently Alan Villiers went to the Indian Ocean in search of one of the last remaining Indian Ocean brigs. He thought that it could be found amongst the Maldive Islands, and the programme deals tonight with this journey which he made to Ceylon and Maldives.
