A weekly date for enthusiasts to meet Percy Thrower and his gardening friends.

Today Percy Thrower advises on summer bedding plants and suggests planning schemes for the flower beds. In the greenhouse he demonstrates how to take the side-shoots from the tomato plants and the way to pollinate their flowers.
His guest is Jack Matthews who shows some of the beautiful shrubs which are flowering now and suggests useful varieties for the smaller garden.
