International Puissance Jumping
The Fred Foster Memorial Competition

From Harringay Arena, London.
The closing stages of a competition that commemorates the late Mr. Fred Foster and his horse Swank, which jumped a height of seven feet six-and-a-half inches in 1937. Finalists with equality of faults participate in successive 'jumps-off' with the obstacles heightened and enlarged each time but gradually reduced in number to a minimum of two.
