Little Tiger
Vera McKechnie tells you the fifth of a series of stories about Tog, the Little Tiger, created in the drawings of Sheila Hawkins.

Foudroyant Ahoy
This film shows a group of schoolboys enjoying a fortnight at sea.
The Foudroyant's first name was the Trincomalee, a teak-built ship that was launched at Bombay in 1870 and saw forty years' active service with the fleet. Some time after coming out of service she was renamed Foudroyant, the name of Nelson's flagship, and is now the last floating survivor of the old sailing Navy. Today she is used as a training ship, in which schoolboys are given a course of seamanship.

Bertram Mycock introduces Canon Ernest Southcott, Vicar of Halton - a collection of housing estates on the outskirts of Leeds.

Canon Southcott, a Canadian, believes that the vast majority of people in Britain, whether they realise it or not, have rejected Christianity in any sense that the New Testament would give to that word. Under his leadership the church in Halton is working out a new kind of strategy designed to meet the situation that faces it.
