Another play about Benvenuto Cellini and the artists of Florence by C.E. Webber.
In "The Florentine Apprentice" (televised last January) Benvenuto Cellini, goldsmith of Florence, helped Lorenzo the apprentice to prove himself as a sculptor. Now that formidable and fearsome soldier the Emperor Charles V is visiting Florence, and this time it is the Duke who needs Benvenuto's help.
