Yesterday H.M. the King officially opened the Festival of Britain when he spoke from the steps of St. Paul's Cathedral. This afternoon the Exhibition on the South Bank of the Thames was opened to the public and tonight television is paying the first of a series of visits to the Exhibition grounds.
