('The Dance Programme')
[Starring] Harry Baur, Marie Bell, Pierre Blanchar, Fernandel, Louis Jouvet, Raimu, and Francoise Rosay in Julien Duvivier's film Un Carnet de Bal
Christine, a young widow, is living in seclusion on the edge of an Italian lake. Without children or friends she seeks refuge from her loneliness in memories of the past.
While sorting some papers belonging to her late husband, she finds an old dance programme which revives memories of her first ball. Eight names are written in the programme -the eight men who danced with her that evening and who claimed they loved her.
Christine conceives the idea of seeking out these men to find what twenty years of life have done to them.
