Tonight Richard Dimbleby and Michael Henderson take viewers to one of the most fascinating of London's industrial establishments, the National Physical Laboratory at Teddington, where many industrial problems are investigated and all types of apparatus are tested.
The visit includes the High-Voltage Test Laboratory where materials are subjected to million-volt lightning discharges.
