An important aspect of the life of a Territorial is that all ranks use their Drill Hall as a Club where there are facilities for sports, and wives and visitors are regularly invited to the canteens and messes.
For the second visit to Napier House, Grove Park, when the training is over for the evening, Brian Johnston and David Wolfe-Murray are shown the Regimental Colours, drums and plate, and meet the men and girls and cadets taking part in various sports, followed by a sing-song in the canteen, with Sam Costa as guest entertainer.
