By courtesy of the Directors of the Sandown Park Race Club, viewers visit this well-known course to see some of the principal events in this afternoon's racing, including the Princes Steeplechase over three miles, five furlongs, twenty-five yards, and the Cardinal Hurdle over two miles, five furlongs. Henry Green, assisted by Roger Mortimer as race reader, helps viewers follow the races.
Clive Graham is beside the camera in the paddock to identify the runners and jockeys before each race, and Bill Allenby introduces some interesting personalities.
