Almost continuously since 1826, a series of six Christmas lectures for children has been given by many of the leading scientific figures of the time at the Royal Institution, Albemarle Street. This season's lecturer is Sir Frederick Bartlett, C.B.E., M.A., D.SC., F.R.S., Professor of Psychology at Cambridge University.
Today, Professor Bartlett is giving an additional seventh revision lecture especially for television, before an audience of schoolchildren, in the famous Royal Institution lecture theatre. There will be many experiments in which the young people will be taking part.
