A special version of the play originally produced at the Arts and Scala Theatres, London, by the Reunion Theatre Association.
The play by T. Atkinson, arranged and produced for television by Jan Bussell.
The action takes place in a television studio, and introduces past and future scenes in the lives of three soldiers about to be demobbed.
The Reunion Theatre cast is comprised entirely of ex-service actors and actresses. 'T. Atkinson' covers the identity of William Templeton, Alec Clunes, and Peter Powell as authors, with the collaboration of William Fox and Torin Thatcher.
