BBC Radio 2 is a radio channel that started transmitting on the 30th September 1967. It replaced Light Programme.

Raised by his aunt and never sent to school, the Legion d'Honneur recipient has sold more than 100 million albums and continues to perform for hundreds of thousands of fans. Discussing his legacy are singers Charles Aznavour, Francoise Hardy, Petula Clark and Sylvie Vartan, whom Hailyday married and shared a well-publicised career with. Plus Hallyday's son David and Foreigner's Mick Jones, who starting his songwriting career working for Hallyday.
