2/2. Singer/songwriter Amanda Ghost interviews the original female singer/songwriter, Joni Mitchell. Singularly reflective, experimental and sophisticated, the Canadian-born, jazz-influenced folk giant has also nurtured a successful career as a visual artist. Now 63, she remains best known for the songs Both Sides Now, Big Yellow Taxi and Help Me, and enjoys a near-cult intense following. In this final part Mitchell discusses her legacy - including perhaps her most revered LR Blue (1971) - and what compelled her to record the forthcoming release - her first album of new material since 1998, excerpts of which are aired for the first time tonight. Other treats include a new version of Big Yellow Taxi.
5/5. Songwriter, producer and Robbie Williams collaborator Guy Chambers presents a detailed deconstruction of the "simple" three-minute pop song. This end-of-term edition showcases the more perfect complete pop songs, from start to finish. Plus a selection of glorious passages and moments.
