Their successes include a spell at Apple as professional songwriters, chart singles with McGuinness Flint and a hit album, Breakaway. Their songs have been covered by many artists, including
Mary Hopkin , Art Garfunkel , Elkie Brooks and Bryan Ferry. With contributions from Gallagher and Lyle, plus many who worked with them, this programme charts their achievements from the sixties to the nineties.
