British debuts earlier this month at the Bluegrass and Cajun Festival in Blackburn. The Seldom Scene have been at the top of the Bluegrass world since the early 70s, while relative newcomers the Cox Family have made a huge impact with their first album for the Rounder label.
Classic blues from legends like Muddy Waters, T Bone Walker and Etta James, plus the best of the new releases including Alvin Lee, Rory Block and Dave Hole. Tonight's session is from harmonica virtuoso Simon Hickling, who made his debut on the show with Nine Below Zero, but now takes the spotlight with his own band in three specially recorded items.
