As part of the ninth season of Welsh Proms, held in St David's Hall, Cardiff, the BBC Concert Orchestra (leader Martin Loveday) is conducted by the Proms Artistic Director, Owain Arwel Hughes. The concert is devoted to music from the Russian ballet, including movements from Swan Lake, The Age of Gold, Romeo and Juliet and Spartacus, and concludes with Suite: The Firebird.
